About Parks and Rec Pro
It all began when 2 people volunteered at their local parks and rec commission.
Over the years, this husband and wife duo Dave and Trish Baldwin, steadily grew in their responsibilities. Dave's role expanded as he became a city council member, providing him with a unique perspective on the challenges faced by parks and recreation departments. They observed the recurring issues of underfunding, understaffing, inadequate training, and inefficient systems. Recognizing the need for improvement, they became determined to find a better solution.
Driven by their shared passion, Dave and Trish embarked on a mission to bring about positive change. They began collaborating with skilled professionals, including graphic designers, marketing strategists, and process improvement specialists. Their initial step was the creation of value-rich, step-by-step digital downloads. These guides were meticulously crafted to empower individuals with limited experience, enabling them to develop programs that deliver genuine value to the community while generating much-needed revenue for parks and recreation departments.
The journey did not end there. Dave and Trish are currently working on the next phase of their vision, developing software that will revolutionize the way staff and volunteers operate.
